If you're looking to invest in a decent set of colored pencils I've been thrilled with the quality and richness that these pencils offer.  I used inexpensive colored pencils in the past and I can tell you price and quality matter.  What a difference!

Christmas - "On Dasher"

 

The reindeer is "On Dasher", a die from A Muse. 

The paper, inks, fishtail pennant dies, and stamped images are also all from A Muse.

Hard to tell in the photo but the reindeer are shimmery and "popped" up using 3D foam adhesive.
