Ha! I fixed 'em. I ripped out the carpeting and padding. Take that critters. Now of course the house is a mess... but at least it doesn't smell like piss. Damn dogs. Love them, but not their bad behavior.
I told the hubby this morning, "this weekend we have to rip out the carpeting, there's at least one dog piss puddle, maybe two, and I'm done trying to keep it clean." I could tell he wasn't thrilled with the idea of spending the weekend tearing the office room apart, removing the carpeting, padding, and strip tack, so I surprised him by getting most of that done before he returned from work tonight. I wasn't able to move to love seat sleeper/sofa or the desk, so he helped with that and now he's sanding the concert floor to remove the mastic, what a guy! And, now it's more or less done (for the time being) so we'll have the weekend to play.

Chocolate Raspberry Cupcakes
I made chocolate cupcakes and about half were filled with a raspberry filling. The other half I didn't fill. All were topped with a rich butter cream frosting that was spiked with two shots of Chambord. The raspberry liqueur was very subtle, but still yummy.
Next time I want to try Orange Creamsicle cupcakes. I'll just need to pick up some oranges as I want to add some zest to the batter to really give it a kick. The frosting will be butter cream but with more vanilla than I normally use, perhaps I'll douse it with some Grand Marnier too, for good measure. Maybe I'll make that Monday night if we get home early enough from our wine tasting adventure.
My sweet little angels
I love when Jordan's napping it, it's about the time she's truly behaving herself.
Sassy being calm, a rarity in this house. Needed proof that she does sometimes settle down enough to be as sweet as her name.
Ah my little sweet pea, my baby Karma. She's no longer a puppy, but she sure does snuggle and likes to think of herself as one.
My Pumpkin, my princess, my Ginger! I'm going to miss these knuckle heads while we're wine tasting in Paso Robles... but a few days without being completely covered in critter fur will be nice.
