The pen is mightier than our carpet
My sweet Sassy decided that since she lacks opposable thumbs she would chew a pen. Her paws, the carpet in the guest room, and the fabric love seat in the office all have splotches of blue. Tomorrow I'll do my best to wash away the blue... tonight it's cheese and wine! A much more preferable activity than cleaning. I do fear, however, that the pen may be mightier than our carpet, guess I'll find out tomorrow.

I was surprised to read it was Sassy and not Jordan, the wonder-kitty, that got into trouble. Our dog, Jasmine, will chew on things she finds, like pens, too. So far, we've found them before she's chewed into the ink supply. I think there are a couple products out there that claim to be able to get out ink stains. Good Luck!
We purchased some special Oxy-thingy.. and later, when my body recovers from yesterday's yard work, I'll give it a go.
Of course, the garage needs a good cleaning out, which the hubby has been avoiding for weeks and weeks. I just may have fly solo on this one.
